We are always happy to discuss ideas over the phone. What is the difference between Original Art and an Art Print?

An Original Artwork is created by Kim and is one of a kind signed work. It can not be re-made. An Art Print is a a reproduction of a painting (or in this case one of Kim’s past paintings).. Because the Art Prints come directly from our manufacturer, the prints are not signed by the artist.

Can I see your art prior to purchase?

We understand that spending a lot of money on an investment like art without seeing it prior can be difficult. However, these days, this is how Kim sell’s 100% of her art. Although she lived in Manhattan for 18 years, she now resides in Syracuse, NY which makes it difficult for most collectors to visit her studio to see the art in person. She also has made a decision to not sell her artwork in galleries because it would drastically increase the cost of her work. Galleries generally double the price of the art so they too can make a profit. So in order to keep the cost down, Kim Stadin Art is sold only by Kim directly. Because the purchase is sight unseen, we are always happy to send additional photos and video of the piece or pieces you are interested in! Just send an email or a text our way.

Most of your art is large, how do you safely ship such large pieces?

Art that is very large in size is created on two canvases. Therefore works that are 36x72 inches, 30x80 inches, and 36x96 inches have been made on two identical sized canvases, that are attached seemlessly as one. The work is pre-assembled here in the studio with three pre drilled holes in the back of the wood frames which connects the two as one with three screws. For shipping, we take the screws out and pull the paintings apart. When you receive the painting, lie it face down on a smooth, clean surface like a rug or blanket. Line up the arrows and easily screw the three nails back into the pre drilled holes. Your art will come with the necessary hooks attached to the piece so you can easily hang on the wall.

What method do you use to ship your art?

We ship Original Art with UPS ground and shipping takes 2-5 days within the US. We currently do not ship Original Art outside the US. We are happy to say that we DO ship our fine canvas art prints internationally through our print manufacturer. These generally ship via UPS or DHL. For all items ordered, we will send a tracking number once it ships. We do guarantee that your art purchase is received in perfect undamaged condition. In the unlikely event that the art arrives with any damage, please do let us know within 48 hours and we will fix or replace. All fine artwork purchased off the website will ship within approximately 10 days.

Shipping Costs

The cost to ship fine art depends on location in the US and the size of the piece. However, in general the costs below should help: 20x20 inches and 24x24 inches is roughly $25 — $40. 36X36 inches is $75, 36x48 inches or larger is $250 - $300 dollars.

Do I need to frame your art?

No need! Kim’s art does not need to be framed. The art is painted on high quality canvas with 1.5 inch sides. The sides are painted to work with the piece (ie, white or black) but with all Fine Art, you are more than welcome to chose what color you wish the sides to be!
